Chipping
Just like a big shot the knees must move so the hips and shoulders can rotate.
Be sure you are moving forward when hitting the ball which means you hit the ball with your back knee moving forward. Make sure to stay down so your clubhead skims the grass underneath the ball. On shorter chips you might choke up on the club which might force you to stay down.
Pitching
Don't baby the swing or you will be short. Make a strong swing, especially out of the rough.
Putting
Control distance by how far you take a backswing. Again, don't poke at the ball: Roll through.
Very popular are the big, fat putter grips. It helps by not letting the club twist as you putt. Try it, you'll like it.
Sand
Use a wide stance to help stabilize standing in sand. Keep moving the knees to keep the clubhead in the swing plane.
Grip
You are making up for other problems in your swing needing the correct motions.
Lofting in the air
The trick is to come forward while hitting the ball.
Remember the club face turns over about the time you hit the ball.
When you utilize GLG swings it will go in the air, all the time.
