    The most common thing is havng the thumbs straight down the grip whereas the correct grip is the thumbs are on the sides.

    Many of you have tried the practice clubs which force your fingers in the correct position. Yet hwen you  take a guideless grip you automatically put your thumbs on top of the grip. If your thumbs are on top it will restrict arm movements.

    If any of you have adapted a strong or weak grip that also needs fixing.

    Lots can be wrong even without actually seeing something happen. For instance, keeping your weight on your insteps is a favorite. Or, not standing vertical rather than swaying or bending. Or realize you are rotating around your spine.

    Wrists are, by nature, very flexible through a wide range of motions in a 360° 2-dimensional world. A third dimension would be making the wrist longer which would make you a robot.
    Keeping the wrist straight Illustration is truly the key to good golf. Don't even think of doing something besides a wrist looking like an extension of your arm. It does take practice to ingrain the straight wrist in your unconscious. In the end it feels great without having to pay attention.

    You are probably ignoring the motion on the club head should, for maximum distance and accuracy, always remain in the swing plane. Good natural golfers automatically keep the clubhead in their swing plane. Unfortunately, us average people need training to hold the swing plane.

    Flopping your wrists in all directions. Actually, the wrists never move according to Tiger and Jack. Or maybe you are transferring your weight in the backswing to the outside of your foot, not to your instep.

    The takeaway muscles can take a beating in a round of golf. Most pros don't waste energy on lots of practice swings. Your knees and waist and other muscles may not be strong enough for a good swing.
